A beautiful patience is one where you don’t exhibit impatience. It is a patience where you don’t wail, whine, get angry and frustrated at the people around you. It is a patience where you turn to Allah and present your problem to Him, without blaming Him or your circumstance. It is a patience where despite the difficulty or hardship that you find yourself in, you are still grateful. It is a patience where you display the best mannerisms, while waiting for your problem to be solved. And a beautiful patience is also to say only that which is pleasing to Allah:
The Prophet ﷺ said at the time when his son, Ibrahim passed away, “Indeed the eye weeps and the heart grieves, but we say only what our Lord is pleased with, and we are grieved over being separated from you, Ibrahim.” [al-Bukhari]
Why should we adopt a beautiful patience?
Allah does Sabr:
The Prophet ﷺ said, “None is more patient than Allah against the harmful saying He hears from the people, they ascribe children to Him, yet He gives them health and provision.” [al-Bukhari]
It is the way of all the Prophets:
but they were patient over [the effects of] denial, [al-An’am:34]
all were of the patient. [al-Anbiya:85]
Allah commands us to be patient:
will you have patience? [al-Furqan:20]
The highest of Iman:

Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience. [al-’Asr:3]
The one who is granted patience is granted the best blessing:
The Prophet ﷺ said, “And there is no gift (you may be given) better and more vast than patience.” [al-Bukhari]
What do you get by being patient?
Good news:
but give good tidings to the patient, [al-Baqarah:155]
Those who are patient will have the help of Allah:
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Victory is with patience.” [Saheeh al-Jami’]
“and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient”. [al-Anfal:46]

When you are patient you earn the love of allah.
“And Allah loves the steadfast”. [Ale ‘Imran:146]
It is a means of success:
“O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful”. [Ale ‘Imran:200]
It is a source of honour:

It brings about leadership:
“And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient”. [al-Sajdah:24]
The reward for sabr is endless:

They will be given Jannah:
“Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home.” [al-Ra’d:24]
